The Ten Commandments of God

[Reference: Exo. 20:1-17, Deu. 5:4-21]

I am Yehovah your God.

1. You shall have none other gods before Me.
2. You shall not make unto you any graven image, or any likeness of that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the waters under the earth; you shall not bow down yourself unto them, nor serve them.
3. You shall not take My name in vain.
4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy; in the seventh day you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates.
5. Honour your father and your mother.
6. You shall not kill.
7. You shall not commit adultery.
8. You shall not steal.
9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour.
10. You shall not covet your neighbour's wife, neither his house, nor his field, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his cattle, nor any thing that is your neighbour's.

Prayer

O Yehovah my God,
